Purple Compass was excited to support the design research activities (human-centered and generative) for this corporate social responsibility community project, led by the Field Innovation Team and BBVA Compass. We traveled to Alabama, Texas, and Florida and collaborated with emergency managers, first responders, community organizations and citizens to field test the prototype, and discuss opportunities to build an inclusive community approach to support future ready and resilient communities.

The ShelterSMART community tool will be available under the Creative Commons license in 2019.
